Experience SALT Cafe: Our Beautiful New Offering to Nourish You
After much anticipation, renovation and curated menu selection, the SALT Salon Spa Cafe is ready to officially launch the Cafe into its full expression. To say we're excited is a major understatement, we are over the London fog moon for you to experience our new SALT Cafe. You'll be able to enjoy a custom beverage from our cafe counter to our patio lounge, enjoy a post blow-out appointment organic salad at our barista bar or sip an oat milk espresso at one of our cafe tables while you chat with a friend on life... all starting this week!
On Wednesday, August 18th we officially open our offerings to you, our beautiful community.
We are so excited to bring in beautiful always gluten-free salads and bowls fresh from BRIM - our amazing lakeside restaurant neighbor - who incorporates as much local, organic, plant-focused goodness as possible. Each week, we will have a rotating and seasonal selection for you to choose from like a Vegan Poke Bowl with jasmine rice, pickled watermelon radish, avocado, red cabbage, nori, sesame beets with a tamari ginger sauce or Spring Chicken Bowl with quinoa, broccoli, organic chicken, greens, avocado, pickled veggies, garbanzo and pesto.
Our selection of baked goods and fresh salads and bowls will vary each week so give our SALT Concierge team a call or stop in to check out the selection. We also have an amazing beverage lineup for any mood that may be your day, our baristas are here to guide your selection.
Our Signature Beverage menu is a gem of these offerings - in addition to our coffee and tea selection - our new highlights are specially designed to allow you to experience the SALT vibe on a new level.
We worked closely with Zach, owner and head roaster of Edina Coffee Roasters @edinacoffeeroasters, an up-and-coming treasure of the Twin Cities to look out for in our community. Although they currently operate the roasting company without a brick and mortar, you can pick up their goods from SALT to treat your kitchen to a little extra love of coffee. Working on consultation to develop the Cafe at SALT was "An amazing experience! Embodying our mission of Brew Something Beautiful". Zach said of the development time while creating and working with our team.
The offerings are quite beautiful from Edina Coffee Roasters that we will have in shop. Heirloom is a throwback to traditional dark roast but with their own touch of a smooth body with notes of chocolate and caramel. If you're more of the espresso and latte direction for your cafe beverage, Ember is the perfect blend for you with flavor notes of butterscotch, chocolate and berries. For a touch of sunshine with notes promising to be juicy, sweet and complex, Solarium is the go-to. Needless to say, we're living in a coffee and cafe lovers’ dream!
He guided the development for and created the unique combinations for SALT's Signature Beverage menu. We decided that, here at the SALT Cafe, we wanted to make our syrups and all prep from scratch and fresh for you daily. We also have chosen to incorporate our mission on clean beauty and have zero artificial ingredients. That is exactly right! We combine all of our base ingredients - spices, herbs and minerals - in-house which means you get to enjoy the best we have to offer fresh and made with love.
